The prize designed and then realised was thought on the idea of “sport”. The design process started with finding the values and the meaning of the word “sport”, and after that, what materials can be shared with them. The choice was mediated by the sustainable production techniques available directly on the commune territory.

 

Material and finishing: Stainless steel AISI 304 mechanically glazed for the “wing”, PMMA polished and laser cut for the body and iron laser-cut, blended and chromed for the basement. The prize was handmade produced principally by artisans. The shape contains iconographic elements of the sport: winged Nike and the Olympic Torch.
